We intend to empower, inform, and connect our customers with the rich culture of the West African Diaspora.
Offering authentic West African goods or "goods of the soil," is meant to help our customers step into their most rooted selves.
Lineage is best preserved through art, heirlooms, and clothing. All of our products have a story to tell about the West African experience.
We also celebrate lineage in the familial sense by choosing grandmothers, mothers, and their daughters to be the faces of our company and our most desired customer.
There is no Africa without art. What makes our continent so rich are the infinite amount of creative avenues produced by its people.
For that reason, we work with West African artists, wood carvers, jewelry makers, fabric dyers, and seamstresses from The Gambia, Nigeria, and Mali.
In October of 2021, our non-profit dreams became a reality. Our medical mission "Sunu Reew" became a 501c3 organization.
